The Blaze was ignited when Covid-19 extinguished in-person book tours. Our New York Times​ bestselling author co-founders, Jenna Blum and Caroline Leavitt, joined forces to promote the new books coming out every Tuesday. Within a week, the Blaze had partnered with ​Poets & Writers, Authors Guild, Lit Hub,​ Libro, and Bookshop.org and been featured in ​Vox, O Magazine, People​, and ​The Washington Post—​to name a few. Within a month, our Blaze on-air hosts had interviewed authors from the hottest debuts to Anne LaMott, Gail Godwin, and John Irving.

Since March 2020, Blaze has profiled 1500+ new books and authors from every genre and background. Our Pub Day Tuesdays became weekly programs: ​Debut Spotlight, Thoughtful Bro, CrimeTime, Friday Frontliners,​ Lit Fic, and Special Interviews​. We’ve got a podcast, a Bookshop.org store, a newsletter, a pop-up book recs club, even a baking show! We’ve put numerous literary conferences and festivals online since 2020, reaching thousands of viewers around the world.
