MARGARET PINARD is a Portland, OR author whose historical works explore immigrant stories in early 19th century Scotland and struggles for agency in Gilded Age America. She has published five novels, including the REMNANTS trilogy, about generations of a Scottish family emigrating to Canada in the 1820s. Margaret is the founder of Jolabokaflod PDX, is an experienced public and private event manager, and has been a Booktuber/Authortuber since 2020! She manages the Youtube channel for A Mighty Blaze, as well as playing streaming techie and graphics shortstop for the team.
