JULIE GERSTENBLATT is a writer of historical fiction. Her debut novel, A TINY SPARK, explores the intersecting lives of three very different women in the days leading up to and immediately following Nantucket's Great Fire of 1846, and will be published by Mira/HarperCollins in 2023. Julie's essays have appeared in Cognoscenti, Grown & Flown, Kveller, and The Huffington Post, among others. When not helping out the Blaze or researching her next historical setting, she can be found coaching high school seniors in the art of crafting a killer college essay.
