Jenna Paone
Producer & Host of The Lit Chick

JENNA PAONE is an award-winning writer, songwriter, and performer currently at work on her first novel. A lifelong New Englander, Jenna’s upcoming novel is a work of Women’s Fiction set on Cape Cod that celebrates family, food, and strong women.

After beginning her professional arts career in the dance and theater worlds, Jenna spent over a decade as a touring songwriter, musician, vocalist, and recording artist. She has shared the stage with household names such as Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Gaynor, Lisa Perry, The Bangles, Lisa Loeb, Colbie Caillat, Richie Sambora, Orianthi, and more, and her music has been featured in independent films and played on digital and terrestrial radio. Her most recent music project, Girl, the album, co-produced with creative partner Laura Whitmore, is a collection of empowering pop songs designed to inspire and encourage young girls.

As A Mighty Blaze’s resident Women’s Fiction, Beach Read, and Rom-Com expert, Jenna produces and hosts THE LIT CHICK, an interview series that highlights books and authors included in those spaces. She is a sucker for stories, both contemporary and historical, that center women pursuing big dreams and navigating complex relationships.

In addition to her work as an artist, Jenna devotes a great amount of time to public service. She was a founding Co-Director of nonprofit Boston GLOW (Girls’ Leadership, Organized Women) and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Women’s International Music Network, which produces the annual She Rocks Awards. She is a graduate of Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts.

Jenna splits her time between the cobblestone streets of Boston and the beaches of Cape Cod with her husband, daughter, and cat. Her favorite color is glitter. For more about Jenna, follow @jennapaone on socials or visit her website, jennapaone.com.
