Welcome to A Mighty Blaze! Whether you’re a writer, reader, bookstore staffer, literary event host, publishing professional, or just plain curious: if you love books and authors, you’ll find a lot to love here.

The Blaze was sparked when Covid-19 extinguished the traditional, in-person book tour. Our New York Times​ bestselling author co-founders, Jenna Blum and Caroline Leavitt, joined forces to promote books coming out every Tuesday, when new releases drop. Within a week, the Blaze had partnered with ​Poets & Writers, Authors Guild, Lit Hub,​ and Bookshop.org and been featured in ​Vox, O Magazine, People​, and ​The Washington Post—​to name a few. Within a month, Blaze on-air hosts had interviewed authors from the hottest debuts to Anne LaMott, Gail Godwin, and John Irving.

Since March 2020, Blaze has profiled dozens of authors from every background and featured hundreds of new books. Pub Day Tuesdays have grown into regular weekly programs: ​Debut Spotlight, Thoughtful Bro, CrimeTime, Authors Love Bookstores, Authors in Conversation, Poets in Conversation, Friday Frontliners,​ and​ ​Blaze Baking​. In 2020, we put Newburyport Literary Festival, Sanibel Island Writer's’ Conference, Brattleboro Literary Festival, Salem Literary Festival, and Bookstock online, enlarging audiences and enticing audiences from around the world….and we did it again in 2021! We’re excited to help authors and readers keep connecting in the digital space that’s become such an ingrained part of our lives.
